Instructional levels (Flags & Jr. Pee Wee Tackle) strive to teach all players the fundamentals of football.
Flags and Jr. Pee Wee Tackle introduce players to the structure of a real football team. Games consist of 11 vs 11 competition and operate just like the NFL games you watch on television. All players recieve playing time. For the safety and well being of the players, some will get significant time during regularly scheduled games based on ability, football IQ and overall effort during the practice week. Those who don't play as much will see increased playing time during additionally scheduled weekday games, commonly referred to as B games. All players are assigned to a specific position. They also learn that every position is important to the success of the team. No records are kept at any of these levels.
Flags and Jr. Pee Wee Teams participate in an End of Season Tournament as an introduction to the competetive mentality of football. During this tournament, playing time is not required for all players, however, because of the experience gained throughout the season, most players see playing time.
Competitive
At the Pee Wee, Jr. Varsity & Varsity winning becomes a bigger focus of the season. Each team is trying to win the Championship of the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Football League.
Key to achieving that goal is teaching each player the importance of Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Dicipline and Dedication. Players are driven to become experts at their assigned positions both on the offensive side of the ball and defensive side of the ball. As they progress from level to level, each player is coached to understand the offensive and defensive schemes that are used by the Middle School and High School teams in the East Penn School Distict in oreder to provide them with an advantage once they graduate from our program.
Since not every player will receive equal playing time in the weekend games, secondary or "B" games may be scheduled for Monday nights in order to provide those players with the opportunity to continue the development of their skills in a game atmosphere.
Ages
Flags - Age 5-7 (may not turn 8 prior to Aug. 1)
Jr. Pee Wee - Age 8 (may not turn 9 prior to Aug. 1 and may not weigh more than 80lbs. to play any position and up to 100 lbs. to play offensive and defensive line only)
Pee Wee - Age 9 (may not turn 10 prior to Aug. 1 and may not weigh more than 100lbs. to play any position and up to 120 lbs. to play offensive and defensive line only)
Jr. Varsity - Age 10 (may not turn 11 prior to Aug. 1 and may not weigh more than 120lbs. to play any position and up to 140 lbs. to play offensive and defensive line only) Age 11 (may not turn 12 prior to Aug. 1 and may not weigh more than 80lbs.)
Varsity - Age 11-13 (may not turn 13 prior to Jan. 1 and may not weigh more than 140lbs. to play any position and up to 160 lbs. to play offensive and defensive line only)
When
Flags - Practice 3 nights/week. Games on Sat. or Sun. within the Lehigh Valley.
Jr. Pee Wee - Practice 4 nights/week. Games on Sat. or Sun. within the Lehigh Valley.
Pee Wee - Practice 4-5 nights/week. Games on Sat. or Sun within the Lehigh Valley.
Jr. Varsity - Practice 4-5 nights/week. Games on Sat. or Sun. within the Lehigh Valley.

Extra Costs
What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?
For the 2024 season, we are including a volunteer fee to the registration costs. It comes with two options:
- $25 that is included in the initial registration fee but will be refunded as soon as the parent/guardian completes 3 volunteer hours for the program.
- $75 (in addition to the initial registration) that will allow the parent/guardian to be exempt from volunteering for the 2024 season. For this option, you will need to click on the $25 fee button and the $75 opt-out button.
